Are there any harmful substances added to kid towels?

2025 - 03 - 17

Under normal circumstances, kid towels do not contain harmful substances added, but there may also be inferior or unqualified products on the market that may contain harmful substances.
China has very high requirements for the selection of raw materials for kid towels, which must meet the national standard for Class A infants and children. Towels that meet Class A standards must be free of various harmful substances such as formaldehyde, fluorescent agents, and carcinogenic aromatic amines, and the quality requirements are very strict. However, some unscrupulous merchants may use inferior materials or add harmful substances such as recycled materials, large amounts of bleach and fluorescent agents in order to reduce costs or improve product appearance. These harmful substances may cause irritation and damage to the skin, and long-term use may even lower immunity or trigger diseases.
Therefore, when purchasing kid towels, consumers should carefully check the production standards and brands of the products, choose legitimate channels to purchase, and try to avoid purchasing products with no three items. At the same time, the quality of the towel can be judged by observing its appearance, odor, and feel. If the appearance of the towel is too bright or has a strong odor, or has a rough texture, it is likely that harmful substances have been added or inferior materials have been used.
In addition, to ensure the hygiene and safety of towels, it is recommended to replace them regularly and avoid placing them in a dark and humid environment for a long time to reduce bacterial growth. For kid towels that have already been purchased, if any odor, discoloration, or deformation is found during use, they should be immediately stopped and replaced with new towels.
