How digital printing technology is applied to cotton towels?

1. Design and pattern preparation
In the pattern design phase, designers skillfully use graphic design software to carefully create the pattern on the digital printed towel. After the design is completed, the pattern needs to be converted into a format that can be easily recognized by the digital printing machine.

2. Prepare the cotton towel base fabric
In terms of base fabric selection, we use highly absorbent and soft cotton fabric to make the towel perform well in both printing effect and comfort. To ensure the color fastness of the printing effect and the clarity of the pattern, the fabric also needs to go through a series of pretreatment steps. This includes washing to remove impurities, applying auxiliaries to enhance dye adhesion, etc., and each step is carefully operated to strive for perfection.

3. Digital printing
Digital printing technology, with its unique inkjet equipment, accurately sprays dyes or pigments onto the surface of cotton towels. In this process, we use digital printing dyes with reactive dyes (especially suitable for natural fibers such as cotton) and acid dyes (suitable for protein fibers). Compared with traditional screen printing, digital printing does not require the production of printing plates, so it can easily cope with highly complex pattern printing, such as gradient colors, fine details and the clever combination of multiple colors.

4. Post-processing steps
After digital printing is completed, the fabric needs to go through a steam fixation process to ensure that the dye is firmly fixed to the fiber. The action of steam causes the dye molecules to react chemically with the cotton fibers, which greatly enhances the durability and anti-fading ability of the pattern. After fixing, the towels need to be thoroughly washed to remove excess dyes and chemical additives. Next, the washed towels will be sent to the drying equipment to ensure that they are dry and maintain their original softness.

5. Quality inspection and finished product processing
During the production process, bath towels will undergo strict quality inspections in many aspects such as color fastness, pattern clarity, and feel. We always adhere to high standards to ensure that every finished product meets market requirements. After passing the inspection, the cotton towels will be cut into standard sizes, sewn edges, and carefully packaged, ready to enter the market, bringing consumers the dual enjoyment of comfort and beauty.
